The significance of cotton as a vital cash crop for many economies necessitates the exploration of effective cultivation techniques that optimize yield while promoting sustainability. This study aims to evaluate various cotton cultivation practices and their impact on production efficiency and environmental sustainability. Utilizing both qualitative and quantitative research methodologies, the research involves data collection from numerous farms across diverse regions, alongside in-depth interviews with agronomists and farmers. The results indicate that integrated pest management and crop rotation significantly enhance cotton yield and reduce dependency on chemical fertilizers. Additionally, the adoption of precision agriculture technologies has been linked to lower input costs and minimized environmental impact. Furthermore, the findings emphasize the importance of farmer education and access to resources in implementing these best practices successfully. Ultimately, this research contributes to the existing literature by providing a roadmap for sustainable cotton farming practices that align economic viability with ecological responsibility.
