The purpose of the study was to identify current trends and gaps in imparting entrepreneurial education in Ethiopian Universities. This descriptive study adopted mixed methods – a quantitative approach to analyze issues such as course delivery trends, knowledge-skills-attitudes attained, and motivation created, alongside a qualitative approach investigating factors influencing course delivery and measures to mitigate negative factors. Entrepreneurship courses were delivered by four instructors to approximately 15 batches of students. A census study was conducted for instructors, supplemented by stratified random sampling for students, with ten students sampled from each batch. Additionally, a cross-section of alumni in various positions was included in the study. Major findings revealed strengths and weaknesses of the Entrepreneurship curriculum, current trends and gaps in course delivery, discrepancies in course resources, and substantial lacunae identified with implications for improvement. Recommendations were provided for educational managers and instructors to enhance entrepreneurship education. Despite the comprehensive nature of this study, its limitation to a single university may restrict the generalizability of the findings across the entire country.
