This paper intends to present different models for the decision-making process in mining, focusing on the essential role of econometric analysis in optimizing operations. The objective is to develop a framework that enables stakeholders in the mining industry to make informed and economically sound decisions regarding mineral extraction. A comprehensive methodology is utilized to assess the economic viability of various models, incorporating elements of mineral economics and operational efficiency. By analyzing historical data and employing statistical techniques, the study derives insights into the profitability and sustainability of mining practices. Initial findings suggest that adopting econometric models significantly enhances decision-making capabilities, thus improving resource management and operational performance. The results demonstrate that leveraging econometric approaches not only aids in identifying optimal extraction rates but also facilitates strategic planning and risk assessment in the mining sector. This research contributes to a deeper understanding of how quantitative techniques can be applied to address the complex challenges faced by the mining industry, ultimately leading to more sustainable economic outcomes.
