Abstract

Language:

The pursuit of happiness is fundamental to human endeavors, yet true understanding of happiness often eludes many. This article explores the concept of true happiness as outlined in the Bhagavad-Gita, presenting it as more than a mere feeling of contentment or joy. The objective of the research is to elucidate how spiritual teachings can guide individuals toward genuine happiness. To achieve this, the article utilizes a theoretical framework based on the philosophical and spiritual insights derived from the Bhagavad-Gita, highlighting the distinctions between material and spiritual pursuits. The findings reveal that intrinsic happiness is accessible when individuals focus internally and embrace self-awareness and self-control as advocated by the teachings of Krishna. Ultimately, the research underscores the need for a paradigm shift in contemporary society's view of happiness, advocating for a holistic approach that integrates spiritual fulfillment as a vital element of true happiness. The article concludes by affirming that understanding and applying these principles can lead to a sustainable and enriching pursuit of happiness.
