Abstract

Language:

An attempt has been made in this work to develop black coatings using high speed electroplating baths based on Nickel, Copper, Cobalt, complexing, and buffer agents. The black coatings obtained enhanced the absorption of sunlight (UV-Visible). The surface morphology of coatings has been assessed by XRD and SEM studies. The corrosion resistances of the coatings in sea water were evaluated by A.C. impedance analysis.
