Abstract

Language:

Extensive fossil fuel consumption in almost all human activities has led to significant environmental challenges, including global warming, greenhouse gas emissions, and depletion of natural resources. This paper aims to provide a comprehensive overview of solar energy as a primary alternative to fossil fuels, emphasizing its potential to mitigate these adverse phenomena. Through a detailed examination of solar energy sources and various conversion methods, the research highlights the advantages of solar energy in terms of its abundance and distribution compared to other renewable resources like wind and hydro energy. By accentuating the importance of transitioning from fossil fuel reliance to renewable energy alternatives, particularly in developing countries, the study underscores the need for sustainable energy developments to secure a better future. The findings suggest that solar energy not only presents a viable solution for reducing environmental pollution but also offers a pathway for long-term energy security and sustainability on a global scale.
