Energy consumption for cooking, water heating, drying, heating and cooling of buildings, and water distillation in the developing world is a major component of total energy consumption in various households and commercial sectors. The objective of this study is to design and fabricate a Multipurpose Solar Energy System (MSES) tailored for domestic use, particularly in remote areas. This research utilizes experimental methodology to assess the performance of MSES under specific climatic conditions in Moradabad, India. Results indicate that the MSES serves as a viable alternative solar Combi-system for various heating operations in a household, achieving an efficiency of 29.21% and a payback period of 2.88 years. The findings underscore the ecological and economical benefits of adopting solar energy systems in the face of rising fuel demands and costs. The study concludes that integrating MSES can significantly alleviate energy consumption issues while promoting sustainable practices.
