This report provides an objective measurement of fodder quality across different animal species, aiming to enhance the understanding and management of fodder resources in agricultural practices. The objective of this study was to evaluate the digestibility and intake values of various fodder types, comparing them across multiple species for effective usage. The methodology incorporated both in vivo assessments and near-infrared reflectance (NIR) spectroscopy predictions to analyze and validate fodder quality. Comprehensive comparisons were conducted between different animal species regarding their intake preferences and digestibility rates, offering valuable insights into the nutritional aspects of fodder. The results indicated significant variations in digestibility and intake among species, ultimately leading to recommendations for optimizing the selection and use of fodder in various animal husbandry contexts. These findings aim to facilitate improved practices in the development of sustainable industries related to fodder production and utilization.
