A myriad of digital resources that can be used in educational purposes and which can be Learning Objects has emerged on the Internet. The objective to be achieved is that Learning Objects are easily found and can be reused an unlimited number of times. The process of localization of the learning objects emphasizes the applicability of different languages (multilingualism) and different cultural contexts (multiculturalism). This paper proposes LME - Localized Metadata Enrichment, a process aimed at improving the discovery and exchange of localized Learning Objects from a localized repository. As the availability of Learning Objects grows, the need for standardized metadata to describe these objects becomes critical, especially for multilingual and multicultural resources. The challenge lies in the increasing quantity of non-textual learning objects (animations, images, video, audio) and the essential role of metadata in discovering and managing these resources. Without adequate metadata, the ability to find, discover, manage, and use Learning Objects will be significantly compromised.
