The Foot Step Power Generation System is designed to harness energy from the footsteps of pedestrians, providing a renewable energy solution for areas with limited access to power. The objective of this project was to develop a sustainable system that can generate electricity efficiently from foot traffic. Utilizing piezoelectric crystals, the system converts mechanical stress from footsteps into electrical energy, capable of powering both A.C. and D.C. loads. The methodology involved designing the circuit and integrating microcontroller programming to stimulate the piezoelectric elements and manage energy output. Testing and analysis highlighted the potential of the system to support small-scale energy needs in rural areas, where electricity supply is unreliable or absent. Results showed that the energy harvested from foot traffic can contribute to local energy management, making it a practical application in developing regions. By adopting this innovative approach, the project addresses the increasing energy demands and represents a significant step towards sustainable energy solutions for communities with limited resources.
