The refractory or low grade lead/zinc domestic ores in the Republic of Macedonia are investigated using conventional separation technology and flotation separation, while simultaneously exploring new possibilities for leaching through microbial processes known as bioleaching. This paper presents the results stemming from these varied methods and investigations focused on ore recovery. Employing the Simplex EVOP and Multisimplex computational programs, the performances of these methodologies are effectively analyzed and highlighted, demonstrating their suitability and excellence as robust tools for presenting leaching and bioleaching processes. The findings show that the application of these programs results in precise optimization techniques that aid in effectively handling ore characteristics, ultimately contributing to improved outcomes in the mineral processing field. These insights pave the way for further enhancements in leaching technologies and methodologies within the relevant sector.
