This research investigates the application of ultrasound controlled cavitation for the sustainable and energy-efficient leaching of tungsten (W). The goal was to evaluate the effectiveness of this method in enhancing the leaching process while minimizing energy consumption. Utilizing various experimental setups, we analyzed the effects of ultrasound intensity and frequency on the leaching rate of tungsten from ore materials. The methodology included systematic measurement of tungsten concentration in leachate samples over time, under controlled laboratory conditions. Results indicated a significant improvement in leaching efficiency with ultrasound-assisted techniques compared to traditional methods, achieving higher extraction rates in shorter time frames. The study concludes that ultrasound controlled cavitation presents a viable alternative for the leaching of tungsten, aligning with sustainability goals in resource extraction and processing.
