A statistical study and matlab evaluation has been conducted on the deposited Zn/Zn-Al alloy on mild steel. The objective was to achieve improved surface adherence by utilizing an electroplating technique with developed zinc and aluminum powder particles. The study employed scanning electron microscopy (SEM) and energy-dispersive X-ray spectroscopy (EDX) to investigate the morphological adhesion phenomena. Methodological values obtained were processed using statistical package for social scientists (SPSS) software, and the analysis of variance (ANOVA) and Pearson correlation index were applied using matlab tools to compare all electrodeposition variables of the plating treatment values. The results indicated significant positive correlations across all groups of deposition considered in this work. The alloy deposition exhibited superior performance in terms of adhesion and coverage compared to single-phase zinc coating, demonstrating enhanced resistance to corrosion and improved mechanical properties. This study underscores the potential benefits of utilizing Zn/Al alloy deposition techniques for mild steel applications.
