Apatite minerals represent a major class of ionic compounds of interest to many disciplines, particularly due to their thermodynamic properties which are crucial for various applicative purposes. The objective of this study is to provide a comprehensive guide for the experimental and predicted thermodynamic properties of phosphate apatite minerals. Methodologically, this guide synthesizes experimental data and predictive models, focusing on key parameters such as enthalpy, Gibbs free energy, and entropy that govern the stability of apatite minerals. Results demonstrate that the predictive methods yield significant insights into the thermodynamic behavior of apatite minerals and establish a reliable framework for future applications in fields such as bioceramics and biomaterials. This comprehensive overview not only aids in the understanding of phosphate apatite mineral properties but also enhances their usability in scientific and industrial contexts.
