The results reveal a diverse array of indicators: from the Canadian Mining Industry Sustainability Initiative to Turkey's unique perspective on sustainability in mineral extraction. Moreover, the publication highlights successful strategies and challenges faced by the industry in different geographical contexts, emphasizing the importance of integrating technological changes and stakeholder engagement to achieve sustainability goals. Overall, this comprehensive review serves as a valuable resource for researchers, industry practitioners, and policymakers striving to enhance the sustainability of the minerals extraction sector.
