This document presents a series of Control Engineering Labs designed to provide students with hands-on experience in temperature and angular position control systems. The objective of the labs is to enhance understanding of control strategies and performance analysis through practical experimentation. Methodologically, the labs are structured into two main sections: temperature control for battery systems and angular position and rotary speed control for a robot arm system. Students engage in a range of activities including model identification, implementation of control strategies, and performance evaluation using experimental setups such as the TCLab kit and QUBE-Servo 2. Results show varying degrees of performance across different control methods applied, highlighting the importance of system components and tuning parameters. The findings emphasize the need for careful consideration of system specifications and iterative refinement in control system design. Experimental outcomes are discussed in relation to theoretical predictions, fostering a deeper comprehension of practical control engineering challenges.
