Technological knowledge is a collection of information from each stage of the casting production preparation process, along with production data and quality control data. This study investigates the significance of efficient management and archiving of technological knowledge in the foundry industry, aiming to establish a robust technological knowledge management system. A comprehensive analysis of historical data is presented to illustrate the importance of drawing accurate conclusions in enhancing the quality of final products. The research employs a methodology that integrates modern computational IT tools for optimizing, storing, and analyzing metallurgical process data. The results indicate that the implementation of an effective enterprise management system, specifically tailored for managing technological knowledge, is vital for fostering innovation within foundries. Furthermore, the findings underscore the relevance of simulation process and data management as an evolving scientific field essential for advancing casting simulation outcomes. Ultimately, the adoption of sophisticated simulation programs is shown to lower production costs while reducing risks associated with critical data oversight. This study contributes to the development of knowledge management practices within the foundry sector, crucial for maintaining competitive advantage in a dynamic market.
