Abstract

Language:

This technical report presents a comprehensive overview of the Kibali Gold Mine located in the Democratic Republic of the Congo, following the NI 43-101 standards. The objective is to evaluate the mine's geological setting, mineral resources, and adapt operational mining strategies based on recent geological interpretations. A detailed methodology encompasses data collection from geological surveys, drilling operations, and mineral processing analyses, alongside assessments of ore reserves and inferred resources. The results indicate a slight reduction in ore reserves in existing areas, while highlighting opportunities for upgrading inferred resources through continued drilling in current pits. The report underscores the importance of ongoing infill drilling programs to mitigate risks and to identify potential extensions of resources. Additionally, modifications in the mining sequence have been proposed to optimize ore recovery, addressing the challenges posed by changing geological conditions. Overall, the findings support a strategy of systematic monitoring and adaptive management to enhance the mining operations at Kibali Gold Mine.
