This report investigates the utility of extracting alpha-particle energy and diverting this power to fast ions. The methodology includes a theoretical analysis of the effects that occur as power is redirected from alpha particles to fast fuel ions, examining the interactions and the resultant pressure changes within the plasma. The findings indicate that this energy extraction method presents significant potential benefits for plasma confinement and stability in fusion reactors.
