This thesis study is related to the extraction kinetics of nickel and cobalt from lateritic nickel ores from the Gördes/Manisa region of Turkey. The experimental studies involved the optimization of extraction conditions using nitric acid as the leaching agent. The research aimed to evaluate the efficiency of metal extraction and to establish the optimal conditions for the maximum recovery of nickel and cobalt from these ores. Methodologies included systematic experiments to optimize parameters such as acid concentration, temperature, and leaching time. Results indicated significant metal recovery rates, highlighting the effectiveness of the selected leaching conditions. The findings contribute valuable insights into the processing of lateritic ores, enhancing the understanding of metal recovery in hydrometallurgical applications. Period.
