Abstract

Language:

This comprehensive review aims to explore the advancements in solar technologies that support the sustainable development of the agricultural sector in India. The objective is to identify both the challenges and opportunities presented by these technologies in enhancing agricultural productivity while minimizing environmental impacts. Utilizing a systematic review methodology, various solar technologies and their applications in the agricultural sector are discussed, including their efficiency, challenges such as high initial costs, and opportunities for improvement. The results indicate a significant potential for solar technologies to transform agricultural practices in India by reducing dependence on fossil fuels, lowering greenhouse gas emissions, and improving energy accessibility. Furthermore, the review outlines policy recommendations for enhancing the adoption of solar technologies in agriculture, emphasizing the importance of governmental support, public awareness, and financial incentives. This study ultimately contributes to understanding how solar innovations can play a critical role in achieving sustainable agricultural development in India.
