Abstract

Language:

As Islamic Economics and Islamic Banking concepts are established practically, this article attempts to define Islamic Management, identify its special features and principles, and prove the distinctness of its entity. Traditional authors often overlook the significant contributions of Islam towards management, despite its historical role in shaping managerial concepts through religious teachings. This study highlights the growing domination of secular and materialistic managerial concepts over traditional Islamic principles, which may not adequately serve the organizations of Muslim societies. Thus, it aims to illuminate various issues regarding management from an Islamic perspective, encouraging a re-evaluation of conventional management theories in light of Islamic tenets. The article underscores the need for an Islamic managerial model that integrates both physical and spiritual factors, guided by faith and religious beliefs. By doing so, it offers a comprehensive understanding of how Islamic teachings can enhance managerial practices and contribute to improved organizational performance. This research signifies the emerging discipline termed Islamic Management, paving the way for further exploration and application in this critical area.
