Abstract

Language:

The impact of the Internet on students' culture is significant, necessitating teachers to understand the digital world their students inhabit. This study aims to promote technological literacy among students by integrating new technologies into the classroom. A primary methodology discussed is the implementation of WebQuests, an inquiry-oriented activity developed by Bernie Dodge, that allows teachers and students to collaboratively create learning units using online resources. This paper explores how effectively utilizing the Web can enhance interaction in the learning process and foster creativity, thereby transforming traditional instructional practices. It highlights the advantages of WebQuests in engaging students and triggering their creative thinking. The results illustrate that these modern educational strategies not only make the learning process more engaging but also equip students with essential skills for their future productivity. Overall, this research underscores the necessity of adapting teaching methodologies to include the Web, thus revolutionizing the way in which students learn and think in an increasingly digitalized era.
