Lower in Power Factor of electrical equipments will draws high current from supply power. The effect of this is affected by impedance of electrical equipment. Therefore, the main consideration of this study is how impedance of electrical equipment affects the power factor of electrical loads, and then distributed power as the whole. This study is important to verify the right action to increase low power factor effectively for electrical energy efficiency concern. The paper discusses the basics of power factor, its importance for power quality, and presents a real-time problem statement. Through theoretical calculations and practical simulations conducted in MATLAB, the authors investigate the impact of capacitor banks on power factor correction. The study reveals the observed values of power factors both with and without capacitors, demonstrating the methodology and outcomes of improving electrical efficiency. The findings underscore the relevance of power factor correction in enhancing the overall performance of electrical systems.
