Abstract

Language:

The purpose of this article is to develop and substantiate rational designs of slope hoisting systems for dump trucks in open pit mines. In order to reduce time losses associated with idle mileage in the transport cycle, it is proposed to use slope hoisting plants exclusively for hauling down empty trucks. The study analyzes basic arrangements of slope hoisting systems and determines a rational field for their use. The findings highlight the operational challenges due to limited experience with multi-rope friction winders, which raises concerns about reliability attributed to fluctuations in friction ratios from freezing and wetting of the ropes. A detailed design study is presented, introducing parameters for a hoister equipped with a reeving system for suspending one platform intended for transporting 130-ton trucks. The developed hoisting plant includes essential components such as two single-drum hoisters, a transportation platform, a headframe for deflection sheaves, two deflection sheaves, and inclined rail tracks. Furthermore, the article proposes innovative technical solutions for hoisting plants with dual platforms, facilitating the alternate hauling of empty trucks. This developed technology aims to enhance the operational efficiency of dump trucks working in open pit mines.
