Abstract

Language:

This data sheet presents a compact relay module designed for the control of standard contactors using DALI (Digital Addressable Lighting Interface) technology. The primary objective of this document is to provide detailed specifications and installation guidelines for the DALI RM relay module, which facilitates the integration of non-DALI compliant loads into a DALI system. The methodology outlined includes the use of available software, 'configTOOL', for the configuration of switch-on and switch-off levels, along with recommended practices for connection and load management. Key results include maximum switching capabilities for various voltage types and guidance for ensuring compatibility with electronic ballasts, specifically regarding inrush currents. Additionally, the document emphasizes safety considerations regarding SELV (Separated Extra-Low Voltage) regulations. Overall, the DALI RM module is presented as a flexible and efficient solution for enhancing lighting control systems.
