Abstract

Language:

This document presents the Photowatt PWX850, a large-scale photovoltaic module designed with double glass technology, suitable for demanding solar applications. The objective is to provide a robust and efficient solar power solution for various environments, including marine and tropical areas. The methodology involves employing Photowatt's multicrystalline technology, where solar cells are individually characterized and electronically matched before interconnection. The module encapsulates solar cells beneath high transmission tempered glass with an advanced UV-resistant thermal setting plastic, ensuring high durability and reliability. Results illustrate that the PWX850 module achieves optimum performance specifications at standard testing conditions of 1000 W/m² and 25°C, demonstrating exceptional electrical isolation and mechanical properties. Additionally, this document outlines product details including dimensions, packing information, and operational capabilities, emphasizing the potential applications for telecommunications, rural electrification, and commercial buildings. Photowatt reserves the right to modify specifications without prior notification, aiming to improve the product continuously.
