This practicum report investigates the fundamental principles of Ohm's Law within electrical circuits, specifically focusing on the relationship between voltage, current, and resistance. The primary objective is to understand how voltage influences the strength of electric current in both series and parallel circuits while also examining the relationship between voltmeters and ammeters. A combination of experimental measurements and theoretical analysis was employed, with specific attention given to various resistors and their effect on current flow. The results demonstrated that voltage is directly proportional to current strength, indicating that an increase in voltage leads to a corresponding increase in current flow. Additionally, the findings revealed that resistance, voltage, and current are interdependent factors influencing each other within a conductive wire. It was concluded that varying resistance yields different current values, which may diverge from theoretical predictions based on calculations. The study emphasizes the importance of ensuring proper functioning of lab equipment prior to experiments, as well as a comprehensive understanding of circuit arrangements in practical applications of Ohm's Law.
