This study explores the reactions between lead compounds and carboxylic acids in the context of lead recovery from secondary sources, emphasizing the significance of establishing efficient recovery methodologies. The objective was to investigate the chemical interactions and the efficiency of lead recovery techniques involving carboxylic acids, highlighting the potential environmental and economic benefits. A series of experimental procedures were undertaken to assess various reaction conditions and their effects on lead recovery rates. The results indicated that specific carboxylic acids significantly enhanced the extraction of lead from secondary materials, presenting a viable approach to mitigate lead pollution and recover valuable metals from waste. Additionally, the optimization of reaction parameters was discussed to maximize lead yield. This research contributes to the broader field of materials science and metallurgy by offering practical solutions to improve resource recovery and promote sustainable practices in metal production.
